The flow specialists of the CargoWise ecosystem.

ViAGO is a CargoWise Service Partner with 20+ years of Theory of Constraints practice. We co-developed PAVE with CargoWise and authored the PAVE certification programme for WiseTech Global. No other partner combines deep TOC expertise, hands-on CargoWise configuration, and the thinking-skills training your operators will need for what comes next.

The Training Trap

Your operators are being trained for the work that's about to disappear.

Lodge the entry. Check the invoice. Update the milestone. Clear the exception queue. The operators who are "good at CargoWise" today are good at exactly the tasks that won't exist in 24 months.

The skill they'll actually need is different: rapid cause-and-effect reasoning under pressure, spotting the hidden assumption in a stuck situation, resolving conflicts without compromising. The Black Belt in Thinking programme, available through WiseTech Academy, was built for exactly this gap. But most operators haven't done it, and most firms haven't prioritised it. That's a problem with a closing window.

The Shift

When agents take the transactional work, escalations become the job.

Agent-driven operations don't eliminate human work. They concentrate it. The predictable tasks go to agents. What's left is the stuff that doesn't fit a pattern: ambiguous escalations, novel situations, trade-offs, judgement calls.

That's not a nice-to-have skill. It's the entire remaining value of a human in the operation. When an agent escalates, the operator needs to understand what's happened, what's at stake, and what to do, quickly and under pressure. Without a formal thinking framework, people default to pattern-matching on whatever looks familiar. That's exactly when bad decisions happen at speed.

The System

PAVE makes the work visible. Discipline makes it count.

PAVE is CargoWise's native workflow visualisation engine, built on Drum-Buffer-Rope. It visualises work-in-progress, helps manage bottlenecks, and makes flow predictable. ViAGO co-developed it with CargoWise, and authored the certification that defines what "good" looks like.

What makes PAVE work isn't just the visibility. It's how people react to it. ViAGO builds the response behaviours that turn what your team can see into what your team actually does. Pre-committed responses, clear escalation paths, and a framework that takes the guesswork out of high-pressure decisions.

How We Help

Three services. The right sequence.

Workflow Analysis

Identify the real constraint and the right automation sequence before spending money in the wrong place. Most firms automate what's easiest or most visible, not what matters. This diagnostic maps your operation, finds the bottleneck, and builds the roadmap for everything that follows.

PAVE Configuration

Implementation and configuration of PAVE inside your CargoWise environment. Not just standing up the dashboards, but building the operational discipline around them: ARS protocols, buffer tuning, team-level response plans. The system that makes flow manageable as agents enter the picture.

Thinking Skills Training

The capability layer that makes your people effective at every stage. Systems thinking, cause-and-effect reasoning, conflict resolution. The same TOC discipline that PAVE is built on, applied to the humans who'll be managing agent output, handling escalations, and making decisions under pressure. We train your operators in the skills that close the gap between where they are now and where the operation needs them to be.

Timing

You can't run a thinking course during a crisis.

Agent-driven operations are 12 to 24 months from being table-stakes in freight forwarding. Training a workforce in systems thinking takes 6 to 12 months to land properly. Firms that start in the next two quarters have a shot at a workforce that's ready when the tools arrive. Firms that wait will try to retrofit the skill under pressure and discover they can't. There is no neutral middle ground where waiting is cheap.
